Ive had a Capital One Credit card with Capital One Bank since XXXX. Ive only had an increase in balance one time for XXXX and that was 4 years ago. Ive had more than 100 successful payments. I used it over 30 percent of the balance but it was mostly during the pandemic and always paid 80 percent of the entire balance off at once and didnt have a carry over balance. Ive had two big salary increases from my employer over the last three years and the last one was on XX/XX/XXXX. Each time Ive asked for an increase, it was silent as empty box. They never could tell me why, and I never receive any information as to why. I never have gotten a letter, email or text stating that I dont qualify. It has said only, its being reviewed and someone will get back to me shortly. A year or more I asked and, just on Sunday, XX/XX/XXXX I asked and still the same message. This is keeping my credit from rising. All of my other credit cards have over XXXX limits. And its oddly strange that Capital One will not budge. Im really starting to feel like Im being discriminated against. Everything this company is questionable. This is what prompted me to close out my checking and savings account with them. Is this against the law? It wasnt every month out of 4 years that my balance was over 30 %.
