I started attending the XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX in XXXX of XXXX and took approximately XXXX credit hours of instruction towards my Bachelor 's ( Even though I had XXXX credits from previous universities ) and another XXXX credit hours of instruction towards my Masters of Information Systems degree/certificate. I pursued this education option with the expectation that upon completion I'd be able to make enough in salary to comfortably pay back the money borrowed for education. The costs of attending XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX seemed reasonable but little did I know this loan would balloon in to over {$200000.00} debt and continues to go up even though I have been faithfully making payments on time since XXXX of XXXX. During this time my student loan payment amount has increased from {$530.00} to over {$770.00} a month and is due for another increase in XXXX weeks!!! This is more than I pay in mortgage payments. I was forced to file bankruptcy just to keep a roof over my head. I am filing this complaint as I have recently learned that XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX and/or Navient loan servicing have been found to have participated in unfair lending practices with these for profit institutions of higher learning even though they never advertised the " for-profit '' portion of their services. My original loan amount of {$66000.00} now has a current balance of {$180000.00}!!! And the account shows another loan with a {$6300.00} original balance that now has a balance of {$13000.00}!!!
