We paid {$850.00} for an appraisal at the requirement of PHH Mortgage. We have received no copy of the appraisal. Our loan was denied on the basis of the appraisal but I don't even know exactly why because I do not have a copy of said appraisal an PHH will not give us any details. The appraiser left no card or information, so I can't contact the appraiser. I can not get anyone at PHH Mortgage to return my messages. I can no longer get into the loan application portal. I have had foundation engineers out to look at our house and they find it structurally sound and said it does not need further work. I can only guess at the reason for the rejection because I have not seen any documents or had anyone return my calls or messages or e-mails.
