Consumer Narrative
XX/XX/2022 I logged into my account to see that Navy Federal Credit Union has debited my account for the amounts of {$510.00} and {$82.00}. Upon discovery I called customer service to investigate and they proceeded to tell me it was due to a provisional credit that was given to me for my child tax credit due to my account being overdrawn. I informed the representative that I did not receive any such notice and did not sign/agree and/or authorize any provisional credit to my account due to the fact I have multiple direct deposits being deposited in my account. To me this is fraudulent activity on their part and now has placed me in a deeper debt than needed to be and I will not be able to pay my bills as I need to.
