On XX/XX/2022, a background investigation company called XXXX initiated an employment screening on me and completed a SSN Trace. The result of that report provided Information which included Alias Names taken from Transunion 's Credit History Log or History File List. It also included Counties associated with my SSN. There were gross inaccuracies in the data provided to XXXX. Transunion provided that information as if it was true and correct. It appears they merged people 's names that were similar to mine in this report. XXXX confirmed that they received the information from Transunion XXXX XXXX or XXXX XXXX. I contacted Transunion 7 times attempting to correct this inaccurate information. Transunion is reporting 9 variations of my name from their credit log file that is inaccurate. They are also reporting several counties and dates of residency which are also inaccurate. Transunion has refused to delete, correct or update this information. Because this information does not appear directly on my credit report, I do not have the ability to dispute it. This information is being sent directly from Transunion 's files that they share with pre-employment or rental screening companies. This is the second time Transunion has provided a background screening company this same inaccurate information. They also provided this information to XXXX.
