I had an account with Comenity BankXXXX XXXX This account was sold to the collections agency XXXX XXXX in XXXX. Both XXXX XXXX and Comenity Bank were reporting derogatory statuses on my credit report which led to an negative impact on my financial abilities. I contacted Comenity XX/XX/XXXX to make a payment but was told the account was sold to XXXX XXXX. I contacted XXXX XXXX and paid the account XX/XX/XXXX and their reporting was removed from my credit report entirely. I was told the trade account would be removed also. Comenity Bank has continued to report the account monthly as a charge off. Since the account was sold it should have been removed completely. I have filed numerous disputes with the company and called without success. I need the issue resolved so that I may re-finance my home.
