XXXX XXXXn OneMaine Account # XXXX Attention Credit Dispute Department : Please be advised that the 30 day late for XXXX payment is incorrect, my account was never late. On XX/XX/XXXX I called and spoke with the XXXX NC XXXX specifically with XXXX the customer representative at the branch who was suppose to put in a single deferment that should have deferred XXXX entire payment. On XX/XX/XXXX I was notified by all XXXX of my credit bureau monitoring services that my account was reported 30 days late for XXXX. I called customer service that same day which was a Saturday and was informed to call the branch the following Monday to follow up. Monday XX/XX/XXXX I called the branch and spoke to XXXX who informed me she didnt know why the deferment wasnt process, attempt to speak with branch manager and was told she was out sick. I then spent a full day on phone with customer service for OneMain corporate and was told by representative XXXX XXXX XXXX that XXXX from the branch had processed my deferment incorrect. XXXX XXXX informed me after review of deferment request placed that XXXX from the branch incorrectly processed the deferment for a double deferment and it should been a single deferment for XXXX not for XXXX and XXXX asXXXX month didnt exist. This issue was then escalated to a manager for corporate customer service XXXX XXXX who assured me that he did see and confirmed that the deferment was set up incorrectly on the branch behalf and that he would take care of the concern and work on rectifying. XXXX XXXX promise to call me back the following day which should have been XX/XX/XXXX he never did, I had to follow up with him. When he finally talked with me on the XXXX after chasing him down for answers he stated he couldnt help. I then called the branch back the following day and requested to speak with the regional of which on the XXXX when I spoke with her ( XXXX it was her first time being informed of the situation which was explained again what happen. The regional XXXX checked my account and informed me and re confirmed that XXXX at the branch had processed the deferment incorrectly that it should have been for a single deferment and not a double deferment, she apologize for the mistake and promised to fix the issue promising to reaching back out to me on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX never followed up, so I reached out on XX/XX/XXXX at the number she provided me to follow up with her on, only to get the run arounds that she could not talk with me as informed by a representative from the complaint department. So now Im getting the run arounds after being promised that it would get fixed as this was a HUGE mistake on the branch end. If I may reiterate that XXXX the Regional manager confirmed the issue and what happen, she PROMISED that she would fixed how the deferment should have been set up and also she promised that the 30 day late would be fixed by putting in a request with all department to begin that process, she promise that she would follow up with me XX/XX/XXXX to confirm that the 30 day late reporting was being worked on as she also had the authority to issue this approval, however she can no longer be contacted or fix this issue as promised. She assured me she would fix it. She didn't call back nor would she answer my calls, had the corporate office call me to inform me that she could talk with me any longer complete BS. Regardless of who promised to fix it the reporting is incorrect, I was never 30 days late. I put in a request for XXXX payment to be deferred as I explained to her and everyone else at OneMaine. I never requested for XXXX and to be deferred, that payment was never in questions. As I have also explained to OneMaine it took me over 4 years to rebuild my credit after being homeless for 4 years to do so and purchase a new home, I also depend on my credit to keep my career and lively hood this has majorly negatively effected my life financially and to have to go through all of this heartache, hardship, XXXX and XXXX due to all the hard work of putting in disputes in writing with all 3 of the bureaus, calling around to all of these departments to get them to see that this was the branch fault even after they have confirmed that this was a mistake and being promised by several managers and the regional that they would fix it their mistake. I should not have to be going through any of this disputing when the mistake was clearly the branch fault. I never asked for anytype of double deferment I dont even know what that is nor did I request it or need it. Im requesting that this late be removed from my account and will be demanding recompense for the loss in my credit rating, and due stress put on me financially and physically.
