I enrolled in Freedom Debt Relief in XX/XX/2021. During my time in their program, they negotiated settlements with several creditors. However, for the first three debts they settled, they never discussed their fees for the settlement. I only found out after reviewing my account that I had been charged undisclosed and substantial fees on top of their monthly service charges. Once I found out how high the fees were, I would have to ask how much I was going to be charged after each settlement attempt. They never once disclosed their fees in a settlement offer, I had to ask each time. I believe these practices are highly deceptive and designed to make you to believe you are saving much more money than you actually are.
