I attended XXXX University in XXXX. I left in XX/XX/XXXX due to a conflict with a professor. My loan was returned and given to ECSI Heartland Campus Solutions for debt collection on XX/XX/XXXX. I have never defaulted on my student loans. I applied for and was accepted to a school in XX/XX/XXXX. I was denied financial aid due to a student loan being in default. Nothing for student loans turned up on my credit report, except my student loans in good standing. I have received bills from XXXX with an amount. The amount changes frequently with no itemization or explanation. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX I called XXXX for an explanation of the loan. Is it a student loan or not? I requested an itemization of my charges from my time at the school. I was informed that they sent the " returned '' loan to ECSI and I would have to call ECSI Heartland.. ECSI has never put their information on my bills, no account number, no phone number or address for ECSI Heartland, no mention of ECSI Heartland. The billing statements deceptively appear as if they are coming from XXXX, which XXXX denies. I tried calling ECSI Heartland and was on hold for half an hour with no response. When I tried to use the online platform it routed me to register with ECSI Heartland. I'm not interested in registering I would like an itemized copy of the original bill and an explanation of whether it is or isn't a student loan and if they can block me from receiving financial aid.
