There was a secured credit card with XXXX XXXX XXXX which I opened XX/XX/XXXX. The account number in reference is XXXX. There are several discrepancies being reported to each of the 3 credit reporting agencies. The first discrepancy is that when I initially opened this account ( completely online ), I only placed a {$100.00} security deposit for the secured credit card account. This does reflect my statement with the account being reported with a {$100.00} credit limit to the credit reporting agencies. The next discrepancy is that the account only has ever had a high balance of {$110.00} which exceeds the credit limit of {$100.00} applied to the secured card as a deposit and final payment should the account be closed. XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX reports that this account is in a charge off status as of XX/XX/XXXX with a past due amount of {$61.00}. If the past due amount is {$61.00} and the only highest amount is {$110.00} that the account has ever been then this would settle the account in full. I also received a notification via e-mail in XXXX stating that my account had been closed and XXXX XXXX XXXX would direct deposit {$75.00} due to closure. I received the {$75.00} then I have this account reflecting as a charge off on my account. There are obviously several discrepancies that are carelessly being reported to the credit reporting agencies based on this information.
