I've been a customer of Capital One bank for score of years. Recently I wanted to add an external account so as to transfer funds. I added one that I was not supposed to add, for I was not owner or co-owner of that account. However, at the time I was adding it, I was never asked about whether I was a owner or not. Anyway, they locked my accounts and when I called them, their representative accused me of repeat offences in adding an non-owner external account. On learning this, I deleted that external account immediately. The representative continue to ask me about the owner 's name, which I gave. When she asked me what I want to do with the external account, I thought I was not obligated to give that information, and refused to answer her. She got angry and ended our conversation. The next day, they sent me an email saying they are investigating and wanted me to called them, which I did. They then told me that they have decided to end their relationship with me, and will release the fund to me after investigation, so and so. That was XXXX XXXX. To this day, my accounts are still locked, and this was more than two weeks already. Please help.
