I had a XXXX XXXX account from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. I paid my last bill on XX/XX/XXXX. And for some reason, XXXX would not provide me with a closing invoice. I made several requests since my disconnection in XXXX with no success. Within a few short weeks ( 15 days or so ), XXXX hired Williams & Fudge by XX/XX/XXXX ( according to the XXXX invoice, Williams & Fudge mailed to me ). The Invoice is not correct and did not have the charge details or closing statement information. I have paid XXXX twice and Williams & Fudge refused to use my checking account activities, as proof of payment. So, Williams & Fudge reported my XXXX account to the credit bureaus, on more then one occasion. I wrote a certified letter to Williams & Fudge on XX/XX/XXXX ; asking them to remove the collection item off of my reports, according to the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. They removed all of the negative reporting within 30 days of the certified letter. But, I was notified in XX/XX/XXXX that Williams & Fudge placed the XXXX collection back on my XXXX report. Even when the XXXX account was paid in full.
