I have new & updated information on TRANSUNION. I have knowledge & proof that TRANSUNION Is breaking the law by violating 15 USC 1681c-2. Once a consumer notifies a Consumer reporting agency of identity theft, they must block the information resulting from the fraud 4 days upon receipt. Transunion received my identity theft report on XX/XX/2022. Its well over 4 days and TRANSUNION failed to block this information. I spoke to a TRANSUNION rep named XXXX on XXXX at XXXX PM & have documentation of him stating that TRANSUNION put my identity theft report on file as a 30 day dispute instead of identity theft & blocking the information from the result. XXXX, a TRANSUNION rep stated that TRANSUNION cant block the information they can only dispute it with the furnisher. I insisted on walking XXXX through the law to show him why its unlawful. XXXX, a rep from TRANSUNION chose not to comply with the FCRA. Neither TRANSUNION, or the person furnishing the fraudulent reports on my behalf have permissible purpose to furnish a report on me. TRANSUNION is willfully non compliant to federal law. TRANSUNION is failing their grave responsibilities of reporting with fairness, accurateness, impartiality, and a right to consumer privacy. This is hurting my ability to obtain credit. Im being suppressed & violated. In closing, i would like to also state that XXXX is also violating in the same manner as TRANSUNION. I couldnt call XXXX to inform them of the violation because XXXX doesnt allow consumers to call them directly for disputes. I dont consent to E-Oscar or any generic responses.
