Today I received notice from XXXX XXXX that TransUnion dropped my score XXXX points. Upon investigation as to why, TransUnion reported that XXXX XXXX reported to them an increase to my credit use by XXXX. This concerned me because my due date is the XXXX of the month and my bill dated is the XXXX of the month and the transaction for XXXX was just posted to my XXXX account on XX/XX/2022. This was not billed yet, so how did Transunion know about the XXXX transaction. I called XXXX and learned Transunion told them I disputed the balance on my account XX/XX/2022 and therefore they generated an off-cycle report to Transunion and added a note to my credit report a dispute was filed on my account by me. I did not file a dispute on this account. I would have never filed a dispute because there is not a single late payment on the account, not ever. A dispute would be pointless. Obviously, this is a retaliatory transaction by Transunion to further drop my credit score. I have reported this LIE to XXXX and they have instructed me on what to do to remove this LIE from my Credit Report. I will follow their directives. However, this does not excuse the blatant LIE Transunion used to gather information fraudulently they were not entitled to get from my account until I was afforded the opportunity to pay off the balance on my account before the scheduled bill date. This time period is given to all consumers and should not have been added to my credit report until XX/XX/2022 if the balance was not paid in full.
