Wellsfargo is falsely reporting late payments on an installment account that was under the protection of the Cares ACT. I have letters from Wellsfargo dated XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX I even opened up 2 complaints regarding the following issue. I had contacted Wellsfargo requesting Covid relief for an installment loan that I currently have with them. I was offered a loan modification agreement to help ease the burden of the payment during the worldwide hardship we were all experiencing. I was assured that late payments would not be reported negatively nor that late fees would be accessed. I reported to Wellsfargo that I did not live at an address they had on file and that I needed the documents to be mailed to my current address. I was told that the documents would in fact be sent to the address I provided yet I never received them. I stayed in contact with Wellsfargo because the modification agreement never arrived and they were time-sensitive. I made this initial contact with an Executive representative by the name XXXX XXXX He assisted me in opening up 2 cases regarding the late fees and payments that were on my account at the time. My credit report shows 120 days late and that is absolutely not true. I wrote to Wellsfargo showing them I had made the payments for the months of XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. In XXXX they did waiver the late fees and yet did not reverse the late payments. This is false and inaccurate reporting. In all of the correspondence from Wellsfargo that I mention above, they apologize for the confusion and the lack of good customer service. I can provide copies of all the letters and statements to show that I was under the protection of the Covid relief and that it was Wellsfargo that did not update my address and continues to ignore the proof I have sent them. The sad part is I have been with this financial institution since XXXX. I have never paid late or even given them any kind of issues. We were all impacted by the Pandemic and this is unacceptable. I have always paid for everything on time. I demand that my record be reported correctly and these late payments are deleted. I am prepared to take all necessary steps to correct this situation. It is impacting my life terribly. All calls are recorded. I demand the calls be pulled! I was promised and assured that the late payments would not be reported nor would late fees be accessed. I have a call log of when I called Wellsfargo. I will gladly send the log to the Attorney Generals XXXX office or anyone office. This is impacting my life horribly.
