On XX/XX/XXXX I made a payment of {$280.00} to avant my credit card company. My balance went back down to XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I made a payment of {$30.00}. Again my balance went down to XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX my credit card company made an adjustment of {$280.00} to my balance. When I called them they told me that they dont accept my bank no more and that they return the payment. I contacted my bank and informed them what happened and they told me that no payment was returned to them. I contacted my credit card company and showed them Transactions from my statement showing that I did not receive any refund from them. While talking to My credit card company an Employee informed me that on XX/XX/XXXX my balance will go back down to XXXX. That the problem had been fixed. XX/XX/XXXX Ill check my balance it was at {$280.00} still when I called the credit card company back they told me that I still owe them that money that if I dont make a payment Ill be penalized. When I explain to them what happened I was told again that OK we will put your balance at XXXX on XXXX XXXX. But since then I receive messages and calls from the credit card company telling me I will be penalized if I dont make a payment on XX/XX/XXXX. When I called them today they told me that they would have to investigate it and it would take XXXX to XXXX weeks and that if I dont make a payment in this time I will be penalized. Their mistake has cost me XXXX points in my credit score as well as any chance of possibly getting a home loan at this point in time. I have no issues repaying The {$280.00} as long as they are willing to return it to me. All the documents attached to this complaint are just a show I didnt receive a refund from them
