I received a document on Saturday, XX/XX/XXXX from PROCOLLECT SERVICES. The document states " A review of my account shows that I have not returned any calls or answered any letters, my account is long past due and has been assigned to their office for collection. They want to hear from me within 10 days to find out how I intend to pay the balance owing. It goes on " this is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose. This communication is from a debt collector ''. It is signed " PROCOLLECT SERVICES '' ( XXXX ) XXXX At the top it say RE : XXXX XXXX & XXXX. Account # XXXX. XXXX. XXXX : {$930.00}. Balance due : {$930.00}. They spelled my first name wrong. This morning, I called there and talked to " XXXX ''. I had a lot of questions. She said the debt goes back to XX/XX/XXXX and {$230.00} of the amount is late fees. I said I don't know anything about collections but aren't they supposed to send me the bills or call? She said notes show they mailed one in XXXX. I told her there has to be a mistake, we know our XXXX XXXX personally and he would have said something about this.I had a few more questions. Then she said she would call XXXX XXXX, I told her I didn't care what she said but I was going to talk to my husband, XXXX, he will go talk to XXXX, our tax man.
