National credit systems purchased a debt against me for an apartment lease that I did not live in or rent from. My credit was affected by this and I am currently denied housing from leasing companies due to this. The leasing company that sold the debt to National Credit System has sold their business to a new corporation. Due to this I am unable to have this issue reviewed and rectified. The leasing agent that I originally spoke to via telephone in XXXX of XXXX was terminated shortly after, and then the company was sold shortly after his termination. I never seen the apartment or received keys to the apartment, or lived in the apartment. National credit systems informed me in XXXX of XXXX that I owe {$4900.00} for the apartment and that I am obligated to pay them in full to clear the debt. When I attempted to enter into a housing agreement with a leasing company, I was denied due to National credit systems being on my credit. The leasing company is " XXXX XXXXXXXX '' broke the agreement of the lease because according to the terms, I never inspected the apartment prior to occupying.
