Consumer Narrative
I am writing because of equifax non compliance procedure in regards to a inaccurate account XXXX XXXX XXXX Mortgage they continue to report and dont fix. I am beyond exhausted on trying to challenge this item and they not comply making it unfair to me and my future credit opportunities because of their inaccurate reporting. XX/XX/XXXX I challenged this item with equifax because they were reporting this account as a foreclosure but they reported this account still open. they reported the date of last payment XX/XX/XXXX but the account was reporting open. they reported a {$0.00} past due and balance but still open and showing as derogatory. XXXX XXXX reporting guidelines states that a redeemed foreclosure must be reported as paid. fast foward to XX/XX/XXXX XXXX I got a updated credit report on my credit monitoring because I can't rely on them sending me any updates regarding my challenge letter. absolutely nothing changed but the reported date that changed XX/XX/XXXX. to my understanding the reported date field indicates that's when the furnisher has verified all reporting information as accurate. if that is so then why are the same exact errors continuing to report? this account is not open. once foreclosed the account must be considered closed. if the furnisher was able to verify all reporting information as accurate then why is their reporting fields missing causing the account to not only be inaccurate but also incomplete. to my understanding when the credit reporting agencies prepare a consumers report they must follow procedures be sure that every reporting field is of maximum accuracy. these blatant errors are proof equifax is in non compliance and its not fair for me to be getting denied credit because of these errors. their improper procedures are causing my credit score and report actual damages and defaming my character and credit worthiness. I have given them a chance to fix these errors and they do not comply nor respond as they are required to do. attached find proof of their updated inaccurate reporting from my XX/XX/XXXX report. im not even going to begin how many inconsistencies I see between XXXX and equifax so ill let you be the judge when you view my report.
