XXXX Ordered a product advertised on XXXX which took me to a merchant called XXXX ( XXXX ). Product was an XXXX helmet that was mechanically operated with remote ( glowing eyes, actuated opening and closure of the front section of the mask ). I provided all the the website pictures and the description of the product back to Capital One showing what the product was advertised as. I received an email confirming my order. XXXX Received shipping details with parts in XXXX, indicating that the product was coming from XXXX XXXX I did not know this as nothing on the website indicated that the product was shipping from XXXX. Their check out process indicated that the product would arrive no later than 2 weeks upon receiving my order. XXXX Received the product in a box with no professional packaging, just a plastic bag covering the product. I provided pictures, dates of the product once I received it to Capital One. I sent an email to the merchant indicating that I wanted to return the product because it was nothing like what was advertised and asked for their return shipping address. XXXX Received a reply from Merchant that did not include the return shipping address and instead asked that I keep the product and receive a 20 % discount on other products offered on their site. I replied indicating that I wanted a refund and to please send me the return shipping address. This reply was met with an automated email stating that the company would be on some holiday festival for 5-7 days. I then called to file a dispute with Capital One. XXXX I provided all of the documentation to Capital One to continue the dispute process ( including the dates of the aforementioned as well as detailed pictures from the merchant 's website and also of what I received. XXXX Capital One requested additional documentation including the sales receipt and also a letter from an expert in the field for the product to verify the difference between what was advertised and what I actually received. I contacted Capital One to express dissatisfaction with the process and that it was going to be impossible to obtain this expert opinion letter on the product. They communicated that this was required to continue the dispute process and that I would most likely lose the dispute without this letter.
