On XXXX XXXX a fraudulent account using my name/SSN/other personal information was opened. I immediately closed the account and at XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX recommendation, contacted XXXX to place a fraud alert on all XXXX major credit bureaus. I wish to remove this fraud alert since I instead froze my credit at all XXXX bureaus. I was easily able to remove it with both XXXX and XXXX. I spent hours the week of XXXX XXXX trying to make contact with Experian. I tried the online self service center ( click " remove alert '' ), which indicates that my request can not be processed each time I try. I tried submitting via their online document upload and also repeatedly received errors in submitting my information. I have called over XXXX times and keep getting put through the self-serve automated system only to eventually deadend even after indicating that I want to remove a fraud alert- it will repeatedly ask if I want to add an alert and eventually disconnects. I tried asking for a representative but the auto system indicates that a call can only be transferred for specific reasons and then it goes through the auto system again and eventually deadends. Pressing zero also ends in the line being cutoff. I did go online and checked for their chat service, but status has been unavailable each time I checked this week. There is no email contact listed for consumer queries. I just want to request the fraud alert be removed from my Experian credit, but I can't make contact in any way to achieve this.
