I have been a Capital One cardholder for several years with the Quicksilver Mastercard ending in XXXX. The record will show that I have a spotless payment history, no cardholder exceptions ever made, and most often my monthly statement balance paid in full each month.. Contacted XXXX in customer service on XX/XX/22 in regards to a finance charge of {$23.00} assessed on XX/XX/22, I explained that I paid the statement balance in full by the due date. Regardless, I received a long scripted convoluted explanation as to why I was charged interest. In fact, I was told no exception could be made to remove the small amount mentioned. Therefore, as I instructed, the account should be closed.
