Debt originally owed to frontier communications and was passed to debt collections. Debt was due to frontier not turning off a service used at a past temporary housing situation. upon not staying at the address anymore directed frontier to stop service but unknown to me it continued to run. About a year and a half or more later I came to know of the debt as it was on my credit report. Disputed with all three bureaus and XXXX removed it but it remains on XXXX and XXXX. This debt is very old and should no longer be on my record and also I was never originally responsible for it. This derogatory report causes my credit score to be reduced and also is a negative impact when I'm reviewed by other financial companies.
