On XX/XX/XXXX, I pulled my credit only to find that Transunion had XXXX hard inquiries on my report, only to find that on XX/XX/XXXX a fraudster was able to not only apply for a credit card but to open up a bank account. These inquiries were pulled 1. ) To apply for a XXXX Credit Card and 2 ) to open an account with XXXX Bank. Neither of which I requested. Back in XXXX of XXXX, I placed a security alert on all XXXX of the major XXXX 's. Had this been handled properly by Transunion neither the application for credit nor the opening of account by XXXX would have happened as the Bank XXXX Creditor would have been unable to pull this. As a result of their negligence, they played a part in allowing someone to open an account at XXXX. In addition, I spent XXXX hours trying to undo what had happened with XXXX, XXXX Bank, filed a XXXX XXXX, report everything as identity theft and reach back out to Transunion to ensure a Fraud alert was added to my file. Had they done what they were supposed to in XX/XX/XXXX this never would have happened.
