I was out of work because my previous employer closed its doors and went bankrupt. The company 's failure, and my unemployment, were due solely to the COVID-19 pandemic. Avant sent emails offering payment plans and saying that if I made a payment there would not be negative reporting. Two days after this email I got my first paycheck at my new job and paid Avant to date. Nonetheless Avant reported me 60 days delinquent. My pre-COVID-unemployment and post-unemployment payment history was perfect. I attach the email and proof of payment.
