After receiving my credit report I found late payments that I want to get removed from my credit record. According to the federal law 15 USC 1605 ( a ) a finance charge is a " sum of all charges '' payable directly or indirectly by the person to whom the credit is extended, and imposed directly or indirectly by the creditor as an incident to the extension of credit as per the law there should have no late payments in my credit report.
