I was called by XXXX I received the following voicemail : Federal law designates this matter as a confidential notice for XxxxxxX if this is not XxxxxxxxX please hang up now if this is XxxxxxxX hello unfortunately we received notice on your file it is now XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and your file has reached our office due to your failure to respond we do need to know was done intentionally or was an oversight I suggest you communicate we are open until XXXX PM today the phone number is XXXX we are asked to see if voluntary communication XXXX I apologize for the aggravation but again we only did just receive this notice to pay online go to www.directrecoveryservices.com and click on the pay now week your account number is XxxxxxxX I went to the website and put in my information. It did not work. I called the above number XXXX. A woman answered, identified my name, asked for my address, and said that I owe XXXX {$270.00}. I told her that I am certain I paid off my XXXX account and I dont see it on my credit report either. I told her I will double check and call back later. She laughed at me and said, Later? ( XXXX ) No, this needs to be handled NOW. I proceeded to tell her to XXXX XXXX XXXX and hung up.
