This has happened on two occasions. XXXX as reporting an incorrect balance and multiple updates within a month on my credit file with XXXX, XXXX and Transunion. My last statement date is XX/XX/XXXX with a balance of XXXX. Since this date I had two purchases ( XXXX {$18.00} and XX/XX/XXXX {$780.00} ) and a payment of {$380.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, during the same reporting period and not the end of the period XXXX erroneously reported a balance of {$830.00} to my credit file with XXXX, XXXX and Transunion showing an 83 % utilization rate. I contacted an Account XXXX and she told me, any time you make a purchase XXXX will report it to the Credit Bureaus and I stated if that is the case why isn't the same thing done when I make a payment. If that was done the reporting would of indicated a balance of {$450.00} vice {$830.00} and a 45 % utilization rate. Additionally, she advised me the balance will update on XXXX which is the statement date. So this week I have to live with this erroneous information.
