Consumer Narrative
I hold Experian very liable for the poor representation of my credit. I have requested numerous of times to be shown proof of this fraudulent activity that keeps being updating to my consumer report without my permission which I firmly believe is a violation of the FCRA. The creditor XXXX XXXX charged off my account XX/XX/XXXX and collected on the account as a tax write off but never sent me a 1099-c which by law I should have. Experian only reports what is given to them without concrete evidence of the situation that ruins the consumer ( me ) credit that I hold very important to my life, also my closed off XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX loan keeps reporting late payments that are also fraudulent, I was never late on payments. Experian was advised to investigate a few things that I believe are inaccurate and their response came back as " verified ''. All they sent was a computer generated response regarding my Re-Investigation. I believe every time I send Experian a dispute about this situation they always send my report back as verified which is a violation of FCRA because they never send verifiable proof of who they spoke to or how they get this information. The privacy Act of 1974 guarantees my right to see records about my personal information, subject to the act 's exemptions. I can Correct a record or records that is inaccurate or incomplete unless it's exempt. The deceptive information that is being given out freely to other business about my credit is very disrespectful to me to the law according to the privacy act. Experian violates the law in so many ways when it comes to my consumer. I believe the FCRA states that Accuracy and Fairness should be followed and none of that is being practiced here, this account needs to be deleted at once, example, my charged off credit card from XXXX XXXX is reporting the wrong account number, date opened, last reported, high credit, etc, XXXX erased this account years ago and XXXX is facing litigation dealing with this inaccurate information. When I go apply for things or a new home I am told you are denied for approval because of this account which keeps reporting unlawful behavior. Litigation will be sought out if this matter is not taken care of.
