On XX/XX/2022, I deposited checks in my Wells Fargo account. One from XXXX XXXX which was from MY business bank account ( check 3 ) and that one cleared with no issues. I have included the check image and screenshot from XXXX XXXX for verification. And another one from XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX account which I am also an owner on. ( check XXXX ) This check XXXX bounced for whatever reason and no one knows why. Not XXXX nor Wells Fargo. I replaced that check with another on XX/XX/2022 from the SAME XXXX account ( check 1 ) and this one cleared with no issues. ( provided a screenshot of this from my XXXX account but unfortunately XXXX does not display the check image for me to attach ). Wells Fargo held these checks until they completely cleared. I was never issued any type of advance at all whatsoever. This is all my money. At first, I wanted to keep my account but now I never want to do business with Wells Fargo again after all this hassle so if they want to close my account, fine. But what I will not tolerate is horrible customer service and inaccuracies noted in my file by a team that refuse to do their job correctly. I went to a branch on XX/XX/XXXX or XXXX to withdraw all my funds and proceed with the close and the next day I get a call from someone in the risk dept saying that they cancelled all my abilities because they tried to verify the funds and " could not locate '' I was shocked, in a panic I called my banks and they said no such thing. What they did say was I needed to be on the line for them to verify so this was a COMPLETE LIE by Wells Fargo that they could " not locate '' my account!! Why would someone from Wells Fargo 's risk department just lie like that? Why not tell me the truth and then have me on the line to verify right then and there as the other banks said they needed to do? Completely shady business practices! I finally got in touch with someone who would listened and he called both banks on the line with me and was able to successfully verify both banks and checks and he noted this in case number XXXX. His name was XXXX. This was the only time I experienced decent customer service from anyone at the risk department. Even he was completely perplexed as to why other case notes on my account said " could not locate ''. Well Fargo 's risk department agents, most that I've spoken to are awful and either outright liars or completely disorganized and causing harm to people for no reason. If anyone from the risk department actually took time and care to verify my accounts, it wouldn't have been blocked further or it shouldn't have been!! Wells Fargo didn't do their job appropriately so I shouldn't be punished for their reps mistakes or errors, or LIES! These are very obvious abuse of power tactics by Wells Fargo. I have every right to my funds at anytime that I want.
