Consumer Narrative

On XX/XX/XXXX I wrote and mailed Transunion to initiate a dispute with Transunion because they are publishing information in my consumer file which are transactions that were originated from my credit card. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, these transactions are supposed to be excluded. I hand wrote these letters and sent them certified mail with proof of delivery and have attached them to this complaint. Today, XX/XX/XXXX, I received a communication in the mail from Transunion alleging that I did not sent this dispute. This communication from Transunion is not in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. This response is offensive and absolutely unacceptable. Transunions response has no legal merit and upon further research is apparently something the credit bureaus to regularly. I have attached a copy of their response as well as my dispute. I have also induced an article from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( YOU ) regarding the bureaus making a common practice of ignoring consumers disputes. My rights have been violated and not Transunion is discriminating against me while continuing to fraudulently publish information which should be excluded from a consumer report. Please do something as this egregious violation of my privacy and rights is impeding me from obtaining housing for my children and I. I did not consult a credit repair company to fix my credit and I swear under penalty of perjury I wrote and mailed those letters. Transunion criminal activity is directly defaming my character, engaging in fraud, and desriminating against me for asserting my rights. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is supposed to protect me, so do your job and help me.
