Consumer Narrative

I am appalled that this Bureau decided to allow this account to be placed on my Credit Report. As a consumer I have the RIGHT to a credit report that is 100 % accurate. The Bureau allowed XXXX XXXX to add a delinquent account to my credit report that is inaccurate and DID NOT follow the FCRA guidelines. XXXX XXXX is reporting that I had a Retail account with XXXX XXXX According to the FCRA in 623 - 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 the Furnisher have the obligation ( 4 ) Duty to provide notice of closed accounts. A person who regularly and in the ordinary course of business furnishes information to a consumer reporting agency regarding a consumer who has a credit account with that person shall notify the agency of the voluntary closure of the account by the consumer, in information regularly furnished for the period in which the account is closed. Consumer Adjustment did not do that BECAUSE I NEVER HAD AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM nor did I notify them about me closing an account because I didnt have one. Not only this, they added information to my report that is damaging my credit without following the guidelines of the FCRA. If XXXX XXXX was the original furnisher : they were supposed to notify me that the account was about to be closed, when it was closed, and that it was about to be sold. This never happened. The furnishers have guidelines to follow neither XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, nor this Bureau are following the guidelines. I notified the Bureaus that this account inaccurate and was not supposed to be on my credit report on. Their response was that it was verified and accurate. As a Consumer have the right to a credit report that is 100 % accurate. This account is showing that it was opened and delinquent on XX/XX/XXXX which is inaccurate. I have attached a copy of my credit report in XX/XX/XXXX this account was not added to my credit report until XX/XX/XXXX and does not show any payment history however the balance each month since has been going up and down sine it was added which again is inaccurate. According to the FCRA and the CCRA ( 1996 ) Running of Reporting period is The 7-year period referred to in paragraphs ( 4 ) and ( 6 ) 6 of subsection ( a ) shall begin, with respect to any delinquent account that is placed for collection ( internally or by referral to a third party, whichever is earlier ), charged to profit and loss, or subjected to any similar action, upon the expiration of the 180-day period beginning on the date of the commencement of the delinquency which immediately preceded the collection activity, charge to profit and loss, or similar action. IF this account was ACCURATE then it should resemble the delinquency date of said account. There is no delinquency date NOR any documentation showing that I had a RETAIL account with XXXX XXXX nor XXXX XXXXl in XXXX, nor 7 years prior. UNLESS somehow the account was, opened, closed, and sold for collection on the same day this account is INACCURATE. However, the bureau is reporting that this is ACCURATE! Not only that but XXXX XXXX is adjusting the amounts owed by dollars a month to continue to damage my credit report... The only communication that I have had with XXXX XXXX has been notifying them that this account is inaccurate and that they MUST STOP ALL Inaccurate REPORTING TO THE BUREAURS. Being that it has been over 45 days since I initially reached out to the bureaus regarding this account it must be DELETED.
