I have an account with XXXX and I have been attempting to pay my bill online for several months only to be told by the system that I have no balance and no payment is due. I received a bill through the mail stating I have a past due bill totaling XXXX with a past due amount of 80.00.I called the customer service number and after being transferred to 3 different people I was transferred to XXXX id XXXX XXXX. She apologized saying there has been a problem with the system. I again explained how I have attempted to make payments but the system says I don't owe anything. She asked if I had called in to speak with someone and I informed her I had not seeing the system says there isn't anything due. I asked if the past due amounts would be reversed since it was the company 's system that gave erroneous information. She told me they could only remove 1 month and the balance after subtracting the late fee of ten dollars would be XXXX. I told her that was the amount of the bill i have before me and she stated the amount is XXXX. At this point I don't know what is true. I am being penalized for something that is entirely the company 's fault and being reported to the credit bureaus as having late payments
