This is a complaint against the following companies : Loan Originator : XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, CA XXXX Debt Collector who purchased the original loan from the Loan Originator : BCG Equities , LLC, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, WI, XXXX Collection Agency acting on behalf of the above Debt Collector : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, MO XXXX Summary of Complaint : This loan was taken out in XX/XX/XXXX in the state of Wisconsin. I settled the original amount but they tried to collect an additional amount of {$4400.00} ( in interest at an extremely exorbitant rate exceeding 400 % ). The " collection '' was sold to BCG Equities and they attempted to collect it in XXXX by harassing me with multiple letters, e-mail and phone calls. It is important to note that they were attempting to collect on this loan past the 6 year statute of limitations for the state of Wisconsin. I sent them multiple cease and desist letters.In retialition, they added a collection account to my credit report which I disputed with all the credit agencies and successfully removed. Their collection letters noted that this debt was outside the statute of limitations yet they were continuing to harass me. It is now XX/XX/XXXX, and they have hired a Collection Agency to act on their behalf to collect this same " debt '', by sending me e-mails and calling me on a regular basis requesting payment. I have just sent another of several cease and desist letters to both Collection Agencies noted above.
