On XX/XX/XXXX AWA collections started collecting for an already previously indicated fraudulent account. The same information was reported to the credit report on XX/XX/XXXX. This is a clear violation of the fair debit reporting act. Had this company notified me prior to placing this account on my credit, they were received the documents necessary to remove this account from their system as a fraudulent account. This is a clear violation of : 15 USC 1692g sec 809 Fair debit collection practice act. The information that AWA is trying to collect for was already removed from the credit report from a previous collection agency trying to collect on the same debt. That debt was deemed a fraudulent debt it was probably removed from my credit report. AWA was notified on XX/XX/XXXX from me as well as XXXX of this error and made no action to correct it. This is a clear violation of section 15 U.S.C. SS 1681i Of the fair debit collection practice act. AWA collections then started feeding me false and in accurate information. Id ask for the fraud department and I received no way or means of contacting this department. I was told that a supervisor will return my calls the very next day who deals with these issues. That was on XX/XX/XXXX. Unfortunately no call was ever placed in response back to me as of todays date. This is a violation of 15U.S.C.1692e SS 807 false or misleading representation. AWA collections was given prior notice of this debt being a fraudulent account by XXXX and by myself. This information was given immediately following the original reporting of this debt by AWA collections on XX/XX/XXXX. AWA collections failed to sis collection of this debt after been notified prior that this is a fraudulent account. Fair to do that violates section 15U.S.C.1692F subsection 809 ( a ) ( 4 ) ( b ) Validation of debts.
