Consumer Narrative
Upon an annual credit report review, I noticed 1 potentially negative item reporting on my Experian credit report for XXXX XXXX XXXX Michigan XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have tried to dispute the item multiple times without success. My case/ order of support was issued XX/XX/15. An individual does not walk out of court with an account, automatic payment plan, Payment booklet, etc. The XXXX has to set up an account in XXXX / XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is SLOW. I did not receive a pmt request until XXXX 2015 via mail, at which I paid the balance ; consequently, this organization was already in the process of contacting employer at the time to set up a wage garnishment. This is standard practice for all accounts. I was never given the opportunity to pay. This account will be 7 years old XX/XX/15. This was never a collection ; the balance is calculated based on a support formula that bills in areas for time in court. On a second note, if this agency wishes to maintain a collection on my report where is the 7 years of positive payment history? If they refuse to delete, I would like all my payment history added to report. In addition, when I switched employers, I went into the system to initiate individual automatic payments. regardless their standard procedure when I start new employment is to send a negative wage garnishment to the new employer HR department. I find the process embarrassing and unbecoming. I have excellent credit and payment records. Garnishments are negative, individuals should be able to set up payroll deductions without this type of tactic As noted, I have tried to dispute with Experian, the online resource provides error codes whenever trying to attach documents.
