I have a student loan from 2000. Over the years I have had issues making payments. Every time I called Navient has steered me into deferments as my best option. I have deferred many times thinking it was in my best interest. Only to find out there were many other options that could have helped. After 21 years my loan amount owed has not moved in fact it has increased. I believe this is a shady act on Navient. How can I receive help?
