I applied for a loan. I asked if they were doing a hard or soft pull on my credit. I was assured that it was a soft pull. I ended up turning down the loan because I did not want it. I had a better offer from a different company. I told them I did not want the loan. I found out from the other company that OneMain did do a hard pull. When I told them I did not want the loan, I asked for a letter within the next seven days because that is how long the other offer through the other company was good for. I was told that was not possible. They were extremely rude and now I can't even get a letter stating that I turned down the loan so I can get the other loan.
