Back in XX/XX/XXXX, I noticed on my credit report there was a collection account for {$1300.00}. When I realized that this debt represented a few hours stay at a local hospital, XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I had checked into this hospital due to breathing problems ( Not Covid-19 related ). From this hospital, I was transported by ambulance to the XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX that same day. I did not have any medical/health insurance at that time. However, staff at the XXXX XXXX assisted me with my application for XXXX and XXXX which was approved about 90 days later. When I got the approval, I placed a telephonic call to the XXXX XXXX XXXX and provided them with my XXXX XXXX number so they can receive payment for their services from XXXX -- -this was around XX/XX/XXXX. Imagine my horror when I discovered that the above -referenced medical-bill for {$1300.00} was now appearing on my Credit Report ( CR ) as a collection account. I immediately contacted the Collection agency, AR Resources ( see attached AR document ), and explained that this bill was already paid by XXXX XXXX Upon their investigation -- -AR Resources removed the collection account from my CR -- -this was back in XX/XX/XXXX. Fast forward today, XX/XX/XXXX, the same bill for {$1300.00} shows back on my CR but from a different collection company, XXXX XXXX, from XXXX, Texas. I immediately contacted their office and spoke to XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, explaining to her this account was paid by XXXX back XXXX XXXX. She informed me that I would have to provide Proof of coverage and a copy of my XXXX XXXX XXXX -then she will remove it from my CR. Be that as it may, be, I do not trust XXXX XXXX, thus my instant complaint to CFPB.
