Consumer Narrative

Ever since SN Servicing took over my mortgage XXXX, I have received multiple letters asking for proof of homeowner 's insurance. As soon as I received the first letter, I reached out to my insurance agent to make the necessary change to the lien holder and send the updated documentation. Multiple times it was emailed, faxed and mailed by both myself and my insurance agent. This month ( XX/XX/XXXX ) there was an additional $ XXXX required on my XXXX escrow payment, which, according to my phone call with XXXX XXXXr on XXXX was for force placed insurance. This was a mistake. They are allegedly correcting this, so that my normal mortgage payment I already made can be applied. It is currently sitting in unapplied funds. I have dealt with this insurance issue for months now. I have email chains from XXXX XXXX ( SN Servicing account representative ) with all of this documented. The first emails start on XXXX. Per my insurance agent, " XXXX '' had already received the policy and resolved it. On XXXX, I received yet another letter threatening force place insurance if I did not send proof. I once again emailed and attached the insurance binder showing I had insurance. On XXXX I followed up asking if it had been resolved. Finally, he replied on XXXX. He stated that " XXXXN Servicing has receive your HOI policy. '' On XXXX I emailed again stating " When will the force placed insurance amount be refunded to my escrow account? I see my latest statement something like {$800.00} was deducted. Please advise ASAP. '' The same day, he replied with " The force place insurance charge was refunded to your escrow account on XX/XX/XXXX. '' I replied back with " Ok, so that will reflect on the XX/XX/XXXX statement? ". He then replied with " Yes ''. If possible, I can attach all the email chains, and I ask that SN Servicing review the recorded phone calls with XXXX. XXXX is one of the most argumentative, and rude people in customer service I have ever dealt with. He seriously lacks professionalism. Each time I have spoken to him, he argues, interrupts and offers unsolicited insights and analogies that I have no interest in hearing. He interrupts me multiple times while I am trying to speak. This is especially frustrating since I am only calling to try to resolve yet administrative mistake. I also think it is misleading to send mortgage statements that do not detail what the increase in escrow cost. In this case, it is force placed insurance. The statement does not state that at all.
