Good Afternoon, I received a XXXX XXXX XXXX as an award from my employer. When I went to use it for the first time today, I became aware that the balance was {$120.00} instead of the {$150.00} as expected. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX who has up to an hour customer service wait time. After getting a hold of an agent, they stated there were charges from CA. I live in CT. They said they would need to open an investigation that would take 45-90 days. I said in the mean time can you give me a new card as this is a gift card and not a debit card or credit and I have never used it? They said no. They were obviously compromised and nothing I did wrong on my end. As I spoke with the agent, i started to wonder if this is a legitimate company? I asked to speak with a manager and they put me on a long hold and then hung up. I tried to call back and could not get anyone. I even looked on XXXX for management and could not find anyone. It funny that I work in fraud and have never had an issue with a debit or credit card but I get a GC as an award and its compromised. Their customer service is horrible and im sure i am not the first complaint and i am looking for help in retreiving a new gift card with the original balance.
