Consumer Narrative

XXXX has blocked all access to my account. They are playing a game where they offer their customers myself included 2 options. Option 1 is to have banker identification be done. XXXX claims I can bring my ID credentials to any random bank, and have a bank staff member call XXXX to verify that I am in fact the card holder. The issue with that is obvious. Banks do not want this involvement especially with XXXX a third party whom they do not trust. Furthermore, this request is unheard of, and according to my XXXX XXXX no bank is under any obligation to perform such a request. Moreover, because XXXX is a federally regulated bank it's not a matter the customers state XXXX can handle at the state level. Of course, XXXX knows this which leaves their customers with only option 2. This option entails customers forking over notarized financial records such as your w-2, tax returns, and photo copies of your signed social security card . Obviously, I distrust this entity so much so that I sent a money order as a way of payment to them. I recorded the phone call with the representative that she states any late fee will be waived for the inconveniences I have endured. XXXX received & cashed my money order, and still charged a late fee & interest fee totaling {$30.00}. Meanwhile, I am under a 0 % APR interest fee. XXXX changed my minimum payment to {$95.00}. I want the full {$30.00} credited back to my account & balance it should reflect is {$2100.00}. My minimum payment should be 2 % of my balance {$42.00} I also want to go on record as saying that I have recently warned the CFPB, and I am doing so again that XXXX should be investigated for unfair practices with their customers especially their credit card holders. Furthermore, I have reported the matter to the Office of the Comptroller of Currency, my state Senators, and XXXX XXXX. Overall, I urge the CFPB to look at XXXX 's history. The XXXX has over XXXX complaints & the recent are card holders being made to fork over their sensitive financial/personal identification notarized to XXXX. There are a slew of complaints alleging all kinds of serious issues ranging from fraudulent charges to deposit box security issues. https : XXXX -Also, I urge the CFPB to see for yourself the parent company of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and the violation penalties currently totaling {>= $1,000,000} Not to mention, 4 of which were brought by the OCC XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX Lastly, I also want to go on record as saying I firmly believe that XXXX will have in the future a breech in which their clients information is compromised. I believe XXXX will pay a small fine, however whomever they sell their clients info to will bring a much more significant pay day for XXXX. This company gives me no reason to trust them, their own people have reported online a toxic working environment. My beliefs are not that of a conspiracy theorist as you know XXXX & the Privacy Guard violation resulted in a {$32.00} million fine. As can be seen through XXXX 's history they start violations again as quickly as 1 year later. Lastly, I have been saving all the concerns & correspondence that I have been sending like this one here to the CFPB, XXXX, XXXX and others.
