I have contacted Transunion several times over the phone and by MAIL since XXXX trying to get them to remove an unauthorized account from my consumer report XXXX XXXX account partial details # XXXX. More recent dates contacted were XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX with no success. I have return REGISTERED MAIL receipts from the company. They have not responded with the information requested. I am a consumer and per Title 15 USC 1681b ( a ) ( 2 ) : In accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. I never received anything from Transunion asking for my consent regarding this alleged account. Transunion has not been fair nor impartial for placing this alleged unauthorized account on my consumer report. The adverse information prevented me from gaining new employment in these grave times during this pandemic. IT'S NOT FAIR. I am a single mother doing the best I can and TransUnion have no RIGHT to place this unauthorized information in my report. My privacy has been violated according to Title 15 USC 6803 ( Disclosure of institution privacy policy ). Consumer Reporting Agencies are defined as Financial Institutions. There was no information disclosed to me before anything was JUST ADDED to my Consumer Report. If you can not provide a contract for a consent between Transunion and I the Consumer REMOVE XXXX XXXX! As I am in the process of seeking Legal action. This must stop!
