1 ) Unknown utility bill XXXX 2012, XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX Tenant occupied. 2 ) City bills wrong address. City was provided all correct contact information for hook-up, and billing. They choose to bill service address, not billing address, 3 ) County tax records reflect actual billing address, owner on record ( me )! 4 ) City never attempts to correctly bill ( see their record ) 5 ) Sends to collection agency - Southern Oregon Credit 6 ) Southern Oregon Credit NEVER makes an attempt to mail, call or notify of balance. NEVER. Note again - county tax records are accurate - address, phone, etc. 7 ) Southern Oregon uses Oregon Tax Refund to settle a debt, I never knew about, nor was EVER notified of, at ANY TIME. 8 ) Southern Oregon Credit tags on XXXX to a XXXX bill! The MONEY IS NOT THE ISSUE. A business, let alone a CITY should collect accurate information about their customers, and then PROPERLY notify them of an outstanding bill/debt. A collection agency should know FAIR CREDIT PRACTICES- proper notification of outstanding debt providing an opportunity to CONTEST or settle a debt. I WAS GIVEN NO, NOT A SINGLE OPPORTUNITY to address this.
