On XX/XX/XXXX TD Auto Finance put a negative 30-day late payment on my account. I have been paying the same, fixed amount every month for over 6 years. After reviewing my payment history provided by TD Auto Finance it clearly shows that NO payment was ever 30 days late. My final payment was due on XXXX and it was paid on XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted a supervisor and was told that typically clients are supposed to get a statement for the last month of the loan but since I had auto bill pay set up those statements didn't generate. The supervisor also said that it was unusual I didn't get contacted because after looking at my account there was never an email, statement or phone call sent to update me on the balance ( they had my correct contact info on file ). This is clearly a TD Finance error and TD Auto Finance recognized it on their end because they removed the late fee. However, they are still reporting a negative 30-day late mark on my credit causing My score to drop over XXXX points because of their inability to properly & transparently bill their clients. Now I can't get a mortgage due to this unfair situation.
