My boyfriend and I were on a financing auto loan set up by XXXX XXXX with capital one for our XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX said we could not refinance our loan because it was the pandemic and were not working at the time. He said that we could trade in our XXXX and we got sucked into financing a new car- a XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX said they would take the auto loan from the XXXX off our hands and pay it off. He said he sent the check but apparently Capitol one never received it until a few months later, so Im not sure if he lied. Anyways, he ruined my boyfriend and Is credit very bad. Our credit report shows that we were late XXXX of XXXX ( 90 days ) and then it was written as a charge off in XXXX and XXXX. This is wrong. We stopped paying the payments of the XXXX because the dealership told us to and said they had it taken care of. It should not be shown late as we were told its not in our hands anymore. This ruined our credit and I reached out to both XXXX and Capitol one several times. My boyfriend and I would like our good credit back and for this issue to be fixed right away.
