I noticed an account on my credit report in XX/XX/XXXX from a Nordstrom/TD Bank USA . I notice it was a couple of late payments and it looked like it had been opened since XXXX of XXXX. I didn't know about this because I don't have credit monitoring services. I contacted Nordstrom on XX/XX/XXXX but I was told by customer service I would have to send in a fraud affidavit with the fraudulent information because I didn't have the account information. I sent over my fraud affidavit along with a copy of my ID and a letter explaining I was a victim of Identity theft, it was received by the credit bureaus on XX/XX/XXXX and was verified as accurate on XX/XX/XXXX. I never received anything from Nordstrom, not a phone call or a letter. On XX/XX/XXXX, I sent the same documents over to the bureaus and on XX/XX/XXXX, the account came back verified again and the same thing, nothing from Nordstrom. On XX/XX/XXXX I sent the same documents again to the credit bureaus and Nordstrom verified the account as accurate on XX/XX/XXXX. I am now sending documents directly to Nordstrom and filing a complaint because I don't know exactly what to do at this point. It is hurting my credit score and hindering me from obtaining any kind of credit at this point.
