After receiving a bill from Capital One in XXXX, that I had requested in XXXX and also XXXX. I mailed in a remittance payment for a special deposit and Capital One did not apply my payment. This is the most serious of the errors. I had received a fraudulent claim on my card, called the claimant and resolved the dispute on my own. Meanwhile, Capital One canceled my card, mailed a new one and canceled that one also, they claimed there was a purchase on that card before I received it. I subsequently was never issued a card. I did not attempt to pay my bill in full, as Capital One claims, I merely tried to make a payment in good faith. I never requested to close my account, as Capital One claims. I merely wanted an unused credit card, and a bill so I could satisfy the debt.
