I requested a covid 19 forbearance over phone on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I called after recieving my approval I paid that month and called to update my situation as requested by my loan servicer, stating that I didn't need my forbearance for the month of XXXX. Early XXXX I received a letter stating that my forbearance was closed due to resuming payments and/or at my request. XX/XX/XXXX I called to dispute this information and was told that I didn't have a forbearance but the denial was a mistake on their part, that they would reinstate and backdate my forbearance. They read me an extensive forbearance agreement to which I agreed. XX/XX/XXXX I called again to update my financial situation, at this point, again, they denied having any record of a forbearance and hung up on me. I called again and they acted like everything I was saying was new information and I quote " you don't have an account with loss mitigation so I don't know why you're calling '' After doing some probing they admitted to having notes from my previous conversations. They read me the same covid forbearance agreement which I approved, again. They backdated the forbearance to XXXX to makeup for their mistake. In XXXX I received a late notice with fees added and a foreclosure warning via mail. I panicked, rightfully and called on XX/XX/XXXX. The same exact thing happened. No recorded of ever having a forbearance or being in loss mitigation. At this point they said I was 100 % responsible for missed payments and fees in XXXX and XXXX. Damage was done, my credit took a huge hit and I suddenly became even more behind. Worried about foreclosure I called again, same day and spoke with a very apologetic representative that said every code entered had been incorrect so the information was being fast tracked to the correct parties and her supervisor.
