My mortgage company made me quit my job and forced me to provide paperwork for a transfer to a new location. I was going to continue working in my current position until I could get a new position at the new location. I would have been staying in my old location moving stuff out of it and prepping for sale all while working. They told me they couldn't underwrite my loan in that situation. I told them a transfer wouldn't work the way they want it to work. They forced me to resign my current position by a certain date so I could move into the new place physically within 60 days if closing so I provided them with documents to show that intent. But now I am in my new location with two mortgages because I don't have the money to fix the old place for sale so I can't afford both places without the job I was supposed to transfer to. I work for the XXXX XXXX and was transferring to another XXXX position.
